Advocates for Children and Youth is the administrative home for the Coalition to Protect Maryland’s Children (CPMC). We are also the Chair and Secretary of CPMC. CPMC’s mission is “To combine and amplify the power of organizations and citizens working together to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. We strive to secure the budgetary and public policy resources to make meaningful and measurable improvements in safety, permanence, and well-being.”
The Coalition’s two main priorities are:
• Ensuring the availability of accurate and up-to-date data on child well-being outcomes for children and families involved with the child welfare system
• Ensuring that children involved in the child welfare system are receiving the high quality health services they need to meet their physical and mental health needs.
