We are handing you the microphone because we know you have a powerful story to share. This is your opportunity to tell us what you, your family and specifically your children are discovering during this time social distancing. It can be about hope, resiliency, or any challenges that you are facing. We want the focus to be on children, youth and families. The tone can be encouraging, serious, comedic or a combination of moods. It is your story to tell so please feel free to share it with us with the hashtag of #mycovidtale.
There are a few things to consider before submitting your #mycovidtale story.
- Anonymity: Your submission can be anonymous, if you want.
- Length: We accept written and video submissions. Written submissions can be as long
as you want but video submissions should be no longer than 3 minutes.
- Language: We accept English and Spanish entries but if not in English, we may have your story translated and both versions appear on our site. Or you can submit both language versions to us. By the way, no profanity. This is a family situation.
- Solicitation: We are all concerned about the economic impact of COVID-19 on our pockets. However, stories cannot be a build up to ask for financial support or donations. We will not publish them.
