Join us for an exclusive Q&A session during our live discussion, Safety Nets: Stronger and Secure Families, on Tuesday, June 29 at 1PM.  However, before we engage in robust conversation, Senator Chris Van Hollen, will share a brief message with us about his work on Capitol Hill.

Our conversation will focus on federal and local programs and how they help to sustain families. We will be using the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s 2021 Kids Count Data Book as a backdrop to share findings and explore solutions. Panelists include:

  • Ayesha Holmes-Maryland Director for the No Kid Hungry Campaign at Share our Strength
  • Debbie Stein-Network Director for the Partnership for America’s Children, a network of 50+ state and local independent, multi-issue, child advocacy organizations
  • Nonso Umunna-Research Director for Advocates for Children and Youth

We must work together to address the current crisis in an equitable manner to ensure that an entire generation of children will not face long-term effects. To be a part of this interesting conversation, register here: https://bit.ly/3yo6gXO
